Out of this month's 8 reads, Worlds of Ink and Shadow by Lena Coakley is hands-down one of the best books I've ever read. Haunting, breathtaking, believable, complex characters that I cared about-- what an imaginative fantasy about the talented and tragic Bronte family.

In March, I had the pleasure of working with Solid Rock Steel Fabricating Co Ltd., a well-respected company that has contributed to many of Vancouver's most iconic structures. Their portfolio includes the Expo Line and Millenium Line Skytrain Stations, the Capilano Cliffwalk, various libraries, malls, public art installations and more.
