In March, I had the pleasure of working with Solid Rock Steel Fabricating Co Ltd., a well-respected company that has contributed to many of Vancouver's most iconic structures. Their portfolio includes the Expo Line and Millenium Line Skytrain Stations, the Capilano Cliffwalk, various libraries, malls, public art installations and more. Though they had hundreds of photos from past projects, their flash-based website was not mobile-friendly and had limited capacity for showcasing their work.

Photos make or break a website. SRS had gigabytes of photos, though many of them were taken by a basic camera or phone. Once we were able to edit their photos to create a synonymous visual look, the next step was building a new website on a gallery-based template.
